imagine if buying a computer was as easy as saying what you want, being
told how much it is, and getting what you want.
imagine if bramley apple sold computers
we do
no technobabble, no taking advantage, just a computer that does what
you want at a reasonable price
it's easy, but of course we'll say that
1. Windows or Mac? Windows computers are more popular (tell us why and
you may win a prize), and most software will run on them. Macs are
easier to use and maintain
2. portable or desktop? a portable computer (often called a notebook or
laptop) is easy to take around with you. desktop computers are cheaper
and more expandable although some are not as powerful as the latest
portables
3. what do you want it for? if you know your wibbly-wotsits from your
flibbety-gibbets, then you'll know what you need to buy to meet your
needs. if you don't, all you need to do is tell us what you want to do
with your computer, and we'll find something that fits the bill.
4. we will send you a statement of requirements confirming what you've
told us, and offering you some extra suggestions you might like (if you
don't, you don't have to have them). then we find you a computer from
the thousands available and email you back with the result
5. we can either send the computer direct to you by drop shipment
(which means we don't see it) and leave you with the manufacturer's
normal setup instructions (plus a CD of goodies we'll send you in the
post), or we can check and set the computer up to your requirements
before shipping it to you for an extra charge.
